As a Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Preparing accurate financial, management, and regulatory reports to support timely decision-making and compliance with SGX requirements. Compiling quarterly consolidated financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and SGX listing rules, reflecting investment portfolio performance. Reviewing financials of subsidiaries, associates, joint ventures, and investment entities to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory standards. Ensuring precise recording of investment transactions, valuations, and related financial activities. Overseeing quarterly GST filings and other statutory submissions. Coordinating financial data across investment holdings and resolving queries with relevant stakeholders. Identifying, investigating, and reporting financial anomalies, including portfolio valuation discrepancies. Assisting in budget preparation, capital allocation planning, and performance tracking of investment portfolios. Liaising with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies on financial, tax, and compliance matters. Providing variance analysis, investment performance reporting, and management insights. Guiding and mentoring junior finance staff in investment-related accounting. Supporting finance transformation initiatives, investment reporting enhancements, and other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA/CA qualification; strong knowledge of SGX listing rules, financial reporting standards, and consolidation. Experience in accounting for investments, subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures, including valuation and performance reporting. Strong financial analysis capability with the ability to identify anomalies, prepare variance reports, and liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, and stakeholders.
