Manages a small team and to be the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for Fund Accounting projects that are of medium scale for the business services. Responsible for end-to-end project management activities such as change management, project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, risk& controls, and other project/BAU documentation preparation. This is all within Fund Accounting Operations for APAC. Lead for identifying and delivering efficiency targets via transformation initiatives that link operations and technology together. Serves as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of medium scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues. Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies. Provides guidance on business and technical fund accounting subject matter to associates. Conducts status meetings and facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of more complex issues. Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Recommends enhancements to project management tools/techniques and company methodologies. Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 7-10+ years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
