Group Strategy & Corporate Finance Manager

Working days: Monday - Friday (Wednesday WFH)

Working hours: 9am - 6pm (Hybrid work arrangement and staggered working hours)

Salary: Up to $9000 (can be discuss)

Office Location: 15 Pandan Road - Transport Pick Up from Clementi MRT

SUMMARY

Responsible for all corporate activities including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions,

SGX reporting and compliance matters

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting up and management of a Group framework for strategic planning and corporate finance
• Coordination of corporate finance matters and arrangement of corporate fundraising projects
• Evaluation of business opportunities and preparation of financial analysis. Assist management in evaluation and provide advice and support for decision-making purposes, appraisal of investment options and business partner role to support management in investment decisions
• Participate in exploratory and negotiation processes in relation to potential business combinations
• Manage and coordinate due diligence processes for business combinations
• Manage and coordinate integration strategies and execution processes for business combinations
• Manage due process in relation to business expansion ie. Setting up new operations, mergers and acquisition
• Setting up and management of strategic financial planning governance framework including (but not limited to) budgeting and forecasting. Overall responsibility to ensure that the Group\'s reporting structure will be able to effectively support the business/management\'s decision-making mechanisms
• Management of joint venture affairs
• Responsible for management of all SGX reporting and compliance matters
• Assist Chief Financial Officer in communications with the Board of Directors
• Review and analysis of Group management and financial reports (including but not limited to finance reports and projections) and provide advice and support on tactical and execution matters
• Preparation and review of the Group\'s financial forecasts and scenario planning
• Coordination of all risk management and internal audits functions with the Group
• Provide technical support and research expertise in respect of the Group\'s finance, accounting, taxation, treasury and regulatory matters
• Any other management areas and tasks as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• Member of a recognized accountancy body (ie. ICPAS, ICAEW, ACCA etc) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in public practice or industry, with at least one year in managerial capacity preferred
• CFA with a minimum of 5 years\' experience in Corporate Finance will be an advantage
