Corporate Finance Manager (APAC)

The Corporate Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of the company\xe2\x80\x99s financing strategy in a certain region, including raising capital to support M&A and organic growth initiatives. The main focus will be the preparation and execution of complex financing transactions. The Corporate Finance Manager will be active in an international environment supporting projects globally but with responsibility for a particular region, Americas, Europe, or APAC. This position reports to VP of Corporate Finance and is based in Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regional Corporate Finance activities.
  • Responsible for determining the regional financing strategy taking into account the corporate funding strategy, as well as developing the strategy for specific events.
  • Responsible for transaction execution including market sounding, due diligence, negotiating terms, documentation, and execution of regional financing transactions for the Company.
  • Analyze and optimize the efficiency of funding solutions.
  • Responsible for regional partnerships and in cooperation with the relevant partners and local management.
  • Responsible for the transaction-related financial modelling as well as modelling to support other financing-related processes.
  • Support projects globally as well as the development and execution of a mid and long-term financing strategy for the company.
  • Support the structuring and execution of derivative transactions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with lenders, investors and advisors while supporting the expansion of the global reach of the prospective partner\xe2\x80\x99s pipeline.
  • Manage the regional financing portfolio in close cooperation with Accounting & Reporting including (optimization of) lender reporting processes.
  • Contribute to building the Corporate Finance function as well as the broader finance organization in close cooperation with internal stakeholders, such as FP&A, Accounting & Reporting and Treasury.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Self-starting professional with strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure.
  • Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
  • Superb ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
  • Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers.
  • Strong process management skills including ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to \xe2\x80\x98getting a job done.\xe2\x80\x99
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience/Education
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business economics or econometrics.
  • Structured / project finance knowledge and experience related to the financing of corporates, projects, or infrastructure (e.g. treasury, corporate finance, or investment / wholesale banking).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial modelling (including in Excel) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the Data Center industry, Construction or Real Estate environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
