Overview of job

GroupM Nexus unites GroupM\'s addressable content and TV, AI technology, data and technology consulting and omnichannel solutions from Acceleration, Finecast, GroupM Services and Xaxis into a single unit. GroupM Nexus adopts a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies\' clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.

As an intern, you will report into an Executive Director, Finance & Commercial - APAC and be working on special projects involving commercial and financial aspects within the regional team. You will be working closely with the regional teams (based in Singapore), and facilitating the efforts of a cross-functional team based in other locations across APAC.

Some of the things we\'d like you to do:

Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and performance metrics to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

Business Modeling: Work closely with the finance team to create and maintain financial models that simulate different business scenarios, helping to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Commercial Activities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial activities, such as pricing strategies, contracts, and research.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and organizing data, as well as assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends, aiding in informed decision-making.

Ad Hoc Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as needed, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of financial and strategic initiatives.

What you will need:
- Competent in Microsoft applications
- Able to work independently without much supervision
- Meticulous, systematic and organised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well rounded team player to build efficiency and foster a strong team environment
- Possess strong work ethics and keep information confidential
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
