DescriptionPosition at GroupMOverview:GroupM is currently seeking an Sr Executive/ Associate Manager to join our team. Director Integrated Planning3 best things about the job:\xc2\xb7 Responsibly managing clients\' media budgets across various tactics, including digital display, content syndication, broadcast, print, and out-of-home (OOH)\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate expertise by selecting media partners and negotiating favorable rates, considering clients\' goals and target audiences.\xc2\xb7 Use data to continuously monitor campaign performance, evaluate metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and achieve optimal results.Your essential skills revolve around media expertise and strong communication. You will be responsible for the performance, including quality assurance of campaign work and ensuring compliance with best practices. Additionally, you will serve facilitating effective communication on workload, client scope compliance, new initiatives, and processes. Collaboration with Integrated Planning teams is crucial to meet the needs of the business and drive success.In this role, your goals will be:3 Months:

  • Manage media across multiple campaigns, ensuring flawless execution of clients\' media strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams to execute campaigns and troubleshoot issues.
  • Gain experience in Performance Media, Advertising, and client management.
  • Develop familiarity with biddable media practices (paid search, programmatic, paid social).
  • Apply industry best practices in media optimization, analytics, A/B testing, and data analysis.
6 Months:
  • Take ownership of higher-level work streams such as new partner onboarding and FTC compliance.
  • Share insights and progress updates with Media clients.
  • Begin collaborating with the Direct Investment team to automate and improve business processes.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking in managing cross-functional teams and complex media strategies.
9 Months:
  • Establish yourself as a key player in media management and strategy.
  • Drive innovation and improvement initiatives across the business.
  • Lead execution of complex media strategies and campaigns.
  • Refine expertise in media optimization, data analysis, and process automation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external clients.
What your day job looks like at GroupM:Plan Development and Recommendation Development\xc2\xb7 Maintenance of tactical Media Plans\xc2\xb7 Provide research and analysis to assist with various issues that arise in the execution of the tactical plan\xc2\xb7 Pull research to support the development of media objectives, strategies, and tactics\xc2\xb7 Review industry trades for new sites, innovative and creative ad units and technologies, as well as competitive information\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain flowcharts, update and maintain archives\xc2\xb7 Take responsibility for partner relationship management\xc2\xb7 Finalize RFP lists and work with the integrated Planning team to review all proposals.\xc2\xb7 Ensure credit management and understanding and communication of IBM processes and guidelines.Implementation and Optimization of Campaigns\xc2\xb7 Stay updated on communications with the planning team, including buy authorizations, tracking reports, buy changes, creative specifications, etc.\xc2\xb7 Manage and steward campaigns, including pacing.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the Analytics/Research team on reporting and analysis.\xc2\xb7 Generate optimization recommendations in partnership with Analytics/Research and planning teams.\xc2\xb7 Implementing tracking tags and delivering ad assets to ensure accurate data collection and effective ad placement.Finance Management\xc2\xb7 Ensure accurate and timely approval of vendor invoices and reconciliation with Finance teams.\xc2\xb7 Manage client financials, ensuring all process is up to date and budgets are actualized.System and Tools:\xc2\xb7 Maintain a strong familiarity, if not outright expertise, with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros\xc2\xb7 Solid knowledge of search marketing tools, popular programmatic trading desks, tracking and tagging methods, and various analytic packagesMinimum qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Minimum of two-three years\' experience in Digital Paid Media\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in marketing or communications related discipline.\xc2\xb7 Client management skills to interact with stakeholders at multiple levels in the media planning process\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify a problem and jump in to find a resolution\xc2\xb7 Ability to pull key insights for clients on ways to improve campaigns\xc2\xb7 Mindset towards process optimization, both through manual processes and through technology\xc2\xb7 Ability to work on multiple projects, demonstrating a mature ability to handle many things at once under pressure\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with Vendors to deliver a test and learn approaches.\xc2\xb7 Team management skills to work well with teammates and confidence managing clients as well\xc2\xb7 Confident with data analysis and insight (i.e. storytelling with data)\xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills; desire for improving how we do what we do\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with tight deadlines and on multiple projects, demonstrating a mature ability to handle multiple things at once under pressure.\xc2\xb7 Command of the Microsoft suite (excel and PPT in particular)More About Our CompanyWe are a media services company that accelerates growth for our clients.
