Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world's largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a GTM Business Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

'The role be part of the GTM (HSBC internal strategic approval for transactions and corporate structuring) and Commercialisation tribe responsible conducting market research for GTM planning, understanding country-specific nuances and liaise with various Tribes to solution country-specific localisations and support market activation.

• Problem Definition - Understand customer's needs, formulate problem statement, identify root cause, conduct market research to understand industry trends and innovative ideas, review feedbacks from customers and users to outlines new opportunities
• Research and Elicitation - Translate business ideas, rationale and purpose (WHY). Document into a backlog of epics & users' stories with clear acceptance criteria (WHAT). Support the definition of feasible, viable & desirable solutions, that are risks compliant and operationally efficient (HOW)
• Core Business/Product Analysis - Proactively structure point of view and recommendations, supported by logical thinking and data points. Prioritize demands, assess solution options, support story points estimation
• Delivery - Identify continuously impediments/ blockers. Define resolution & mitigation approaches. Provide inputs to Sprint Planning/ Review/ Show & Tell. Ensure clarify on scope with minimum position for a releasable product

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst
• Champion in usage of JIRA and Confluence (and similar toolsets)
• Experience working in fast paced Agile environment (Scrum) functioning at scaled (e.g. SAFe)
• Experience within a large, matrix organisation
• Good written and spoken English is a must
• Experience in managing successfully in challenging environments
