Reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager, South Asia & Pacific (Women\xe2\x80\x99s Universe), the Merchandising Manager, South Asia & Pacific (Women\xe2\x80\x99s leather goods & accessories) will be heavily involved in driving the Region\xe2\x80\x99s business growth. They will be client-centric and a key player in tailoring assortments and action plans by store, as well as support flawless cross-functional collaboration to boost Sell-Through results.
Key Accountabilities
Support Senior Merchandising Manager on the execution of all merchandising functions, including achieve sell-through targets, manage healthy stock level, monitor product delivery, eyes on Special Project performance and end-of-life management.
Participate in the translation of WW vision at regional level during sales campaigns based on regional priorities and Hub specificities
Fully accountable for leading and strategizing process flow on multiple key projects and interact effectively with cross-functional counterparts
Support the delivery of detailed business strategies on a regular basis at global level
Ability to have a 360 view on overall business & market trends to formulate key business strategies, keeping an eye on sales and Sell-Through
Constant management of category inventory, delivery, and re-order situation
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders Brand & Client Engagement, Retail Development, Visual Merchandising, Store Planning teams to promote business opportunities
Partner with the Client Engagement team to support activations surrounding new collections i.e. High Value events, Top Client previews, OTOs, Trunk Shows
Work closely with Retail Training team to design seasonal product training and trend information to the store community & Heads of Departments
Co-operate with HQ on timely product feedback and needs including strategic pricing, market and client trends, competitor new developments, and precise requests / opportunities for next collection
Spend time in stores and closely monitor the client behaviour and support store team with day-to-day operations to maximize sales.
Requirements
Functional
Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Merchandising or Business
Minimum 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in fashion merchandising with international fashion / luxury brand, principal brand cross-category experience preferred
Exceptional fashion and market sense with solid experience with Asian markets
Experienced in drive and develop team performance, passionate about peer-coaching and nurturing a small team
Impactful communicator / influencer
Excellent presentation and analytical skills
Team player and energized by cross-functional teamwork
Able to be agile, and work under high pressure with action-oriented mindset
Able to attend frequent store visit
Overseas travel is required
