Summary Job Family Group Description - Corporate and Store Planning:
Combines project and facilities management jobs for stores and corporate buildings. This includes all projects related to stores and offices opening, closing, expanding, downsizing and moving. Also includes land and/or space acquisition, leasing, licensing, site and cost negotiation, development and renovation.

Job Family Description -Corporate and Store Planning Management:
Oversees facility projects for the brands. Project manages new openings, closing and maintenance of existing buildings and ensures objectives and deadlines are met.

Role Mission
Responsible for leading store project development retail design and construction execution in the South Asia & Pacific (SA&P) region in collaboration with World-Wide Store Planning and regional management. The SA&P region comprises the following markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, India, Guam, and Australia & New Zealand.
Key Accountabilities
Team

  • Schedule and Capex projection
  • Managing design package development, tendering and construction of new & refurbished stores, pop-up projects and corporate office spaces
  • Collaborating across departments to plan & execute projects. Departments include Retail, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Finance, IT & Security.
  • Advising the Regional President and country directors on real estate strategy.
  • Enforcing the brand’s retail designs standards for direct-owned, franchisee & whole sale (DFS) stores
  • Leading and developing junior staff
  • Assembling the regional supply chain & network of contractors to execute world-class stores & corporate office environments
  • Executing sustainable/green initiatives
  • Assist with supervision over the regional store maintenance programs

Key Requirements
  • Very strong project management in schedule coordination, site work supervision
  • Priority management skills, the ability to spin many plates at the same time – flexibility, agile and organized
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional relationship building skills, at all levels across the business
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills in an office workplace environment and on a construction site
  • The ability to present compelling business cases supported by analysis to senior management
  • At least 8 years experience within retail design/construction; preferable in luxury fashion retail
  • Passion and dedication to the client (shopper)
  • Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to Europe
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD
