Claudine is a neighbourhood French restaurant (Neo-brasserie), presenting an intimate side of French cuisine, inspired by honest home-cooking and convivial meals. A concept by Julien Royer and The Lo & Behold Group.

We are looking for a service oriented individual to fill the role of a Host/Hostess for our establishments. Being efficient on reservations, the role requires the individual to maintain the highest customer service standards during service, while building a strong repertoire of guests for the Company.

Your responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for guests; Greet guests promptly as they arrive at the restaurant
  • Manage reservations through phone calls, emails, and other forms of communications
  • Ensure that there are no overlapped reservations and the reservations are secured with credit card details
  • Assist the Managers with seat plan arrangements for each service
  • Ensure that menus are changed according to lunch/dinner service and that they are cleaned and presentable.
  • Address guests by name, recognize any special occasions or dietary requirements mentioned, and pass on the information to your teammates for a personalized guests experience
  • Assign guests to designated seats according to the restaurant seating plan. To inform the station in charge should there be any changes.
  • Thanking each guest for dining at the restaurant before they leave
  • Assisting in building and maintaining a strong guest profile database, keeping the information updated regularly
  • Engaging with guests in the profile database whenever there are changes in the menu, special promotions, events, and birthdays
  • Must keep up-to-date with our product knowledge/seasonal produce and have the ability to confidently answer guests\' questions over phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.
We are looking for:
  • The ideal candidate should possess a warm and personable demeanor
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to follow up on any pending duties within the stipulated time frame.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be dedicated to providing excellent customer service
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Someone who is presentable and maintains the standards of the company\'s uniform guidelines
Working hours: 10 am to 7 pm

Working days: Wednesday to Sunday
