Hardware Tooling Engineer



Consumer Products - Singapore



We are looking for an Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of tooling and manufacturing processes. This role focuses on enabling the transition from concepts to scalable, reliable production through well-structured tooling solutions. You will work across design, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful outcomes from early prototyping through larger-scale builds.



Key Responsibilities



Contribute to the development and execution of tooling strategies for new products.



Partner with design and engineering teams to identify manufacturing needs early in the product lifecycle.



Support design reviews, evaluations, and optimizations for cost, reliability, and manufacturability.



Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to align on quality and delivery goals.



Track schedules and deliverables to help programs stay on target.



Participate in validation and testing of tooling and processes, refining as needed.



Help improve internal standards and capabilities related to tooling and manufacturing.



Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the team.



Key Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.



Several years of experience working with tooling or manufacturing in any relevant industry.



Familiarity with common manufacturing methods (e.g., machining, molding, forming, prototyping).



Ability to interpret drawings and use CAD tools.



Experience working with external partners or vendors.



Understanding of design-for-manufacturing principles.



Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
