Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate

Head Chef / Executive Chef

to lead kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will oversee menu planning, food preparation, cost control, and kitchen management while maintaining food safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee all food preparation and culinary activities in the kitchen. Develop and modify menus that meet quality and presentation standards. Estimate food and labour requirements, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines. Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, and manage staff scheduling based on operational needs. Ensure kitchen staff comply with recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve performance and quality objectives. Coordinate equipment maintenance, purchases, and repairs to ensure smooth operations. Perform administrative duties such as inventory management, cost tracking, and reporting. Support other operational and business-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification in

Culinary Arts

,

Hospitality

, or a related field. At least

10 years of relevant experience

in a full-scale kitchen or food service environment. Valid

Food Hygiene and Safety Certification

. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams. Willingness to work on

rotating shifts

, including weekends and public holidays as required by operations.
