About the Role:
We are engaged by a premium student care provider, to employ
Head of Chinese Department
for after-school supervision and enrichment for primary school children. The candidate would inspire students' learning and interest in the Chinese language within a caring and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Chinese enrichment and revision lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus.
Prepare lesson materials, including curriculum planning and pre-class preparation.
Grade students' homework and monitor progress.
Perform quality checks on course materials.
Guide students in completing their school Chinese homework and spelling.
Create engaging activities to promote Chinese language learning.
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Assist in daily student care routines (attendance, meals, dismissal).
Requirements:
Degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field.
Proficient in spoken and written Chinese with accurate Mandarin pronunciation.
Minimum 5 years of experience
in Chinese language education.
Experience in student care or teaching primary school students is preferred.
Responsible, motivated, patient, approachable, and enjoys working with children.
Willing to work weekends as required.
