Our solutions are built by people that understand small- and medium businesses' financing challenges and want to dramatically improve small businesses' working capital financing to such a point that they won't go back to the old ways of working.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Credit team, a category defining Fintech startup that is backed by Tier-1 investors and partners.

• Investigate and resolve delinquent accounts.
• Perform end-to-end collections activities including, but not limited to, dunning, site visitation and legal enforcement of delinquent accounts to encourage timely repayment.
• Minimise delinquency, provisioning, recovery cost and write-off through daily collections efforts
• Liaising with lawyers on recovery and legal proceedings of delinquent accounts.
• Prepare and present reports to management on collections performances, notable accounts and recovery status of delinquent accounts.
• Identify, track and mitigate delinquent accounts or accounts with potential default risk.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role.
• Minimum 5-8 years of Collections experience.
• Working knowledge on trade finance products will be an added advantage.
• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy and/or Business discipline.
• Excellent knowledge of billing procedures
• Knowledge of various collection techniques, enforcement laws and regulations
• Comfortable working with targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
