Our client is looking for a communication and marketing professional lead to provide support to the Group Corporate Communication team to reinforce corporate reputation through branding, communications and marketing.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Information Technology;
• At least 12 years work experience in Corporate Communications, Media and Journalism with at least 5 years in supervisory role;
• Excellent writing and editing skills;
• Experience in PR/media management and social media, issues management and communications;
• Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts, and build consensus both internally and externally;
• Strong skills in communication, consulting, negotiation, and conceptualization;
• Excellent writing, presentation, and people engagement skills in both English and Chinese.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Strong understanding in Information Technology (IT).

Responsibilities

• Responsible to develop and drive strategic corporate communications, marketing (digital and social) against organization goals and inline with the branding awareness within the organization.
• Work closely with team members/PR agency to plan & develop pipeline of content for amplification;
• Strong media contacts and understanding of local media landscapes both traditional and online;
• Able to support press room function to manage media queries when required and support press activities like assessment/execution of campaigns, go to market channels, editorial pitching, interview facilitation, news announcement development and press kit development;
• Lead the brand development, management and governance for corporate branding in terms of brand values, brand look & feel, brand tone-of-voice;
• Development of brand template and corporate collaterals for both internal and external communication;
• Drive development work in partnership with HR Team to develop communications for employer branding and staff engagement programs;
• Support Corporate Comms team in terms of managing issues/crisis to minimize negative reputation.
