Job Description


Job Purpose

Reporting to the Group CFO, the Hd (Finance Systems & Digitalisation) role is responsible for driving the re-engineering and digitalisation of financial processes and workflows, and supporting cross-functional projects that integrates financial expertise with IT- and process competencies. The role will also provide finance business partnering to support strategic growth areas including management reporting; financial and business analysis; and financial systems design and implementation.

Responsibilities

Finance Project Lead
1. Improve business processes/functions through re-engineering of business workflow and processes, leveraging data analytics, digitalisation and automation tools.
2. Drive implementation of new financial systems mapping to commercial requirements, business growth strategy and the internal control environment, including data gathering and analysis, design, evaluation, testing, and post-implementation support.
3. Work with Business Units and Corporate Departments collaboratively to solve design, configuration and integration issues.
4. Drive cross-functional project meetings to implement projects on time and on budget and to manage and coordinate communications with key stakeholders.
5. Formulate documentation and policies for staff training and post-implementation support.
6. Stay updated on new technologies, trends and industry best practices to drive continuous improvements.
7. Any other adhoc work as assigned by the Group CFO.

Finance Business Partnering
1. Support management reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators ("KPI) to provide useful information to internal stakeholders for decision making.
2. Perform financial/business analysis, define and report meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful and accurate decision making.
3. Support the analysis and review of large CAPEX investments and projects.
4. Any other adhoc work as assigned by the Group CFO.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, in a recognised University/Institution.
  • Professional certification with a recognised accounting body preferred eg. Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
  • Proven experience (at least 10 years) in finance management.
  • Proven experience in systems implementation.
  • Prior Big 4 public accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting/financial concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MSPowerPoint, MS-Teams, etc.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.

1. Proven organisational and time management skills, ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, ability to set and meet deadlines.
2. Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Strong stakeholder management, team management and interpersonal skills.
5. High level of financial literacy, numeric and analytical capability with good knowledge of financial statements and markets.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Teams, etc.
7. Proficiency in accounting software.
8. Independent, resilient and resourceful.
9. Basic understanding of data quality frameworks and data governance.
