RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and coordinate complex R&D projects (planning, resources, budget, communication) in an international environment to evaluate the efficacy of cosmetic ingredients with a focus on clinical evaluation.

Set up, coordinate, develop and lead the activities through a network of external and internal partners globally to ensure optimized processes and high scientific quality in a matrix organization. Work closely with contract management on contractual negotiations with external partners.

Develop and implement scientific expertise in the field of clinical evaluation in adequation with market trends, new methods and new scientific discoveries.

Develop and implement processes to facilitate the activities for product development and customer specific projects.

Input to the business strategy through value generation for products.

Align with the respective innovation departments to prioritize activities and develop new technologies adapted to future needs.

Strengthen the scientific reputation through high quality standards and implementation of suitable research tools. Together with the teams, write scientific articles, presentations and reports and ensure external representation at scientific events and with customers.

Closely collaborate with colleagues from research, development & innovation, applied innovation, product management , regulatory teams, marketing and sales, business development and contract management to ensure the success of the projects.

Bring technical and scientific support in customer interactions and consult with internal collaborators by being the clinical evaluation expert.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree (MD, PharmD or PhD) in Clinical Medicine, Dermatology, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biology, Cosmetic Sciences or similar field

At least 3 years of experience in clinical study management with experience in skin care products testing or cosmetic ingredient clinical evaluation

Familiar with international and regional regulation for cosmetic ingredient registration as well as regulation related to clinical trials (in Singapore and ideally internationally)

Previous practical experience in skin care or cosmeceuticals clinical research project, GCP qualification is an advantage

Excellent English skills in reading, writing and listening

Strong communication and good interpersonal skill, with strong responsibility and team-spirit

Able to travel for customer meetings when necessary
