As Head of Commercial, for our Global Emerging Markets (GEM) business unit you will provide leadership and functional expertise to support each GEM market unit to sustainably grow by building and embedding core systems and capabilities coupled with developing new go-to-market strategies.

Your key accountabilities include:

Commercial Execution

Collaborate with Global BU Marketing to ensure strategies, programs and materials developed for business growth are aligned with GEM\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goals

Build and strengthen GEM\xe2\x80\x99s marketing competencies and marketing function talent to leverage insights from patient and healthcare professionals and to drive a culture of innovation and commercial excellence

Partner with Medical leadership to leverage global Medical Affairs capability to establish more robust differentiated product positioning supported by effective regional/local advisory boards

Drive Innovation

Build analytics and insights across the GEM region, to support strategy development and execution

Collaborate with GEM Medical Affairs and Regulatory leads, to present GEM\xe2\x80\x99s view and priorities into the innovation and development processes

Build and strengthen launch excellence framework and lead all commercial launch preparation activities

Growth Strategy

Support the shaping and enhancement of the commercial vision, strategies, and resource requirements to enable Convatec to grow

Provide commercial analysis, including evaluating and providing competitive market intelligence, financial analyses, and emerging business and industry trends, and direction for the development and management of the product pipeline

Partner with leaders to execute business development strategies; monitoring execution and identifying risks; ensuring suitable metrics are in place

To be successful you will have:

Extensive (15+ years) commercial experience including new product planning, marketing, market analysis and sales leadership

A values-driven leadership style with a track record of achievement as a senior marketing leader in Asia Pacific and Latin America within the medical technology and/or pharmaceutical industry

A strategic/analytical and results-driven mindset with the ability to plan, direct, and lead marketing strategy development

Demonstrated capability to build effective cross-functional teams, develop employees, and build the influential relationships

Success in strengthening customer focus and marketing capability at different levels of an organization

Knowledge of commercial compliance and all laws and regulations that govern promotional and non-promotional activities

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant discipline

Advanced degree (MBA, Master\xe2\x80\x99s) preferred
