What you\'ll be doing:

• We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced and motivated executive to lead our commercial team. You will lead a critically strategic team focused on driving StraitsX\xe2\x80\x99s growth and partner with key leaders across the organization to expand our customer base.
• You are comfortable working as part of a team, encouraging effective collaboration, and engaging with executives at all levels internally, with our customers, as well as our partners ecosystem.
• Define the commercial strategy to support StraitsX\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and align with the leadership team on initiatives to reach the target;
• Be an active leader in the Commercial team to help up-level the entire organization with the necessary skills, strategic insight, and focus on impact;
• Prioritize and help drive on the highest impact opportunities to deliver on commercial goals;
• Be commercially aware and able to make business decisions that support the team objectives;
• Serve as a senior executive stakeholder, providing strategic and consultative advice to influence the payments strategy of our customers and partners;
• Lead the team to recruit the right partners to open up new business opportunities and sectors;
• Drive a consistent flow of new business opportunities across our target markets;
• Work closely with the Marketing, Product and Operations teams to ensure effective collaboration on GTM launches and customer satisfaction;
• Motivate and coach team members, and encourage creativity and autonomy;
• Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication / feedback culture.

What we are looking for:

• 15+ years of experience in a related role, preferably in Big/Fin Tech / Banks / Crypto and Payments, including managing teams based in Asia, building executive level enterprise relationships, and proven growth through sales and partnerships;
• An energetic self-starter with proven commercial edge, a track record of delivering results and the ability to build long term relationships;
• Comfortable and excited by being responsible for commercial goals and creating a measurable impact for the business;
• Can balance strategic thinking with world-class execution (brilliant basics);
• Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills as well as a methodical approach to a business that is going through ambiguous times but can stay on focus and task.
• An excellent communicator and team player with strong leadership skills and technical understanding.
• Passion for fintech, payments, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology.
