Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Leading the compliance team, you will provide compliance advice to portfolio managers and internal stakeholders across trading, investments and operational activities
- Ensure the firm\'s compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements across its global investment and trading activities
- Identify emerging regulatory risks and suggest enhancements to address the issues
- Keep abreast of regulatory trends and developments, while supporting internal stakeholders in assessing risks and managing regulatory changes
- Advise on the implementation of robust controls and processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Liaise with relevant jurisdiction\'s external legal counsel for regulatory advice when required, and respond to queries from external parties on regulatory and compliance issues
- Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree from a reputable university
- At least 15 years\' regulatory advisory experience in Investment Management, Global Markets, Private Equity, exchange or regulator environment
- Possess good knowledge of financial products and markets
- Exposure to trading and investment activities
- Knowledge of regulations in APAC, EU and US will be an added advantage
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a high performing team
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and have excellent communication skills
