It is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading bank in Hong Kong, the selected candidate will be leading their application portfolios with various new initiatives for the core banking space. This role works closely with senior management. Great opportunity and challenge.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the Core Banking Systems platform including Mainframe, Open Platform, FPS across development, implementations, and support.
- Manage technology operations and future applications development fulfilling the regulatory requirements and minimizing potential risks and incidents.
- Lead technology change and revamp in accordance to HKICL and HKMA changes.
- Manage and formulate system roadmap, solution design, and enterprise architecture to support business vision.
- Lead a sizeable technology team (20+ people) of highly skilled developers, technology managers, support and QAs. Retain high team morale and provide solid career development to the team.
- Manage offshore and outsourcing technology resources in the aspects of deliverables quality and services level.
- Provide Risk and Compliance management across the technology division for local and overseas branches. Formulate guidance, procedure, and standard for internal teams, and act as subject matter experts on related risk and compliance areas.

Requirements:
- Extensive large team management experience with a strong proven system development track record in the core banking systems.
- Sound banking industry knowledge and experience in highly mission-critical software management.
- Strong team leadership in large team management, able to drive high-performance team, people development, and retention.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Core Banking systems including Savings, Transfer, Swift, Cheques, FPS etc.
- Technology Management experience with Mainframe and Open Platform.
- Extensive knowledge in IT control, IT regulatory, compliance, and IT practices.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing a 365/24/7 support model in maintaining high service availability.
- Exposure to regulatory requirements and audits from HKMA.
- Strong personality and character to engage and influence both IT and business communities.
- Strong vision and insight to tell what kind of new technology should apply in future development. Ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
- Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from a reputable University.
