Team Summary

The Core Platforms and Digital Solutions team will lead the creation, evolution and deployment of our platforms, digital and processing products, solutions and standards across AP. They will be involved in all major phases of new product strategy, ideation, GTM/commercialisation, pricing and implementation and have primary ownership and accountability for bringing to market new Visa developed technology to ensure Visa continues to hold its leadership position in driving the growth of these solutions in the region.

What a Head of Digital Solutions does at Visa:

  • P&L responsibilities across platforms, digital and processing products.
  • Executing Visa\'s Win in Digital strategy by:
  • Locally building and working with global product to rollout Visa\'s range of digital solutions, e-commerce checkout and the next generation of checkout capabilities.
  • Delivering on Click-to-Pay and Visa Secure Remote Commerce plans.
  • Lead our tokenisation initiatives (deployment and penetration into markets) and conceptualise/build the next generation of tokens.
  • Leads our platforms and network processing units and be responsible for our strategic product development and roadmap and partnership with domestic processors across AP.
  • Deploy and harden globally designed/built products into AP and, when appropriate, transition to Consumer or Business Solutions vertical for ongoing management.
  • Lead a team responsible for developing and deploying the suite of capabilities, which support Visa\'s goal to drive digital credential and usage growth by motivating, coaching, mentoring and supporting them to function as a high performing team.
  • Ensure products are relevant, either built locally or adapted for local usage - new products and capabilities are built from scratch or created by bundling capabilities (either in house or from external providers) into unique Visa value propositions.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share.
  • Engage with clients across the ecosystem - both financial and non-financial institutions - to identify client needs and be actively involved in the implementation of our clients\' digital agenda.
  • Engage in thought leadership presenting Visa\'s vision and products to ecosystem partners including participation in industry events, regulator and government engagement to formulate strategy to drive regulation change where needed.
  • Work closely with the regional and global product teams to a) ensure product specifications and pricing are appropriate for the market, and b) to share learnings and insights to other markets and build a community of like professionals.
  • Track and meet financial and business metric performance indicators, continually be focused on ensuring that Visa\'s core platform products and solutions deployed in the market meet all relevant consumer and merchant payment needs.
  • Communicate AP\'s agenda to Global Product on roadmap based on deep understanding of industry pain points/issues. Conversely, share the product roadmap regionally based on deep understanding of upcoming capabilities evolving over time.

The Head of Core Platforms & Digital Solutions, Asia Pacific will be a close partner to Country Product Management, Global Product, Innovation, Regional Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. They will be a member of the Asia Pacific Product Leadership team, reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Products and Solutions AP and will lead a team in Visa\'s Singapore regional headquarters and by Core platforms & Digital Solutions teams in each market.

Qualifications

What you will need:
  • Unfailing passion and belief in the transformative power of technology in the world.
  • 15+ years of experience, including 8+ years of experience in product management, project management, and/or management consulting.
  • Deep technical knowledge of technologies and systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills to effectively deliver on large cross-functional projects working with colleagues and partners across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Ability to influence strategy while driving tactical program execution.
  • Possess significant functional knowledge, including software development, marketing, sales, legal, etc.
  • Experience in managing a broad portfolio of products/solutions (preferably digital) through the entire lifecycle, demonstrated leadership in new product development and commercialization.
  • Flexible and proactive trouble-shooting capabilities with the ability to manage diverse groups organized within different organizational reporting lines.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and delivering on complex cross functional projects from conceptualization to launch.
  • Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy and detailed, flawless execution, demonstrating a record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisions.
  • Track record of leading and developing people with proven ability to attract, hire and train top talent.
  • Excellent contract and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of Visa business and organization strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s degree required, MBA is a plus.
