For the Digital Solutions division of its telecom business, it is interested in bringing on board an experienced software engineering professional to provide leadership to the application development function. Position : Head of Software Development (Digital Solutions), Telecom Job Code : EXP/HSW-DSTel/INDO/0423 Location : Jakarta, Indonesia Responsibilities Reporting to the CTO for Digital Solutions, the selected candidate will provide overall leadership to a team of 40 motivated professionals engaged in developing cutting-edge digital solutions and apps for the company\xe2\x80\x99s mobile data consumers. He/She will direct the technology strategy, oversee multiple concurrent application development projects, and drive continuous improvements, and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes; lead ideation and development of digital solutions for mobile data, web and payments; oversee API design and usage; and deploy Agile methodologies. He/She will hire new talent and develop in-house capabilities through structured and on-the-job training; take inputs and feedback from Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Product Management and other teams; monitor competition and new technology trends; and advise top management on technology roadmaps. Requirements Ideal candidates will have: \xc2\xb7 Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering \xc2\xb7 At least 12~15 years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 Strong experience of managing application development and APIs in a telecom or digital solutions company \xc2\xb7 Strong technical, ideation, analytical and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to relate to both business needs and technical requirements. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and presentation skills \xc2\xb7 Strong leadership, project management and coordination skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to manage product vendors as well as outsourced talent \xc2\xb7 Innovative.
