ROLE OVERVIEW The Head of Corporate Development position provides the executional leadership and management necessary to optimize existing business units and launch new business units in order to achieve the overall vision for the group. The ideal candidate is results driven, and has a preference for rapid completion and action, a collaborative, constructive and energetic style, guided by the vision and values of the company.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a customer centric organization that mirrors the purpose, vision and core values of the company. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives working closely with the CEO.
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the profitability and operating condition of the company and various business units, and make recommendations on areas for improvement to drive cost efficiencies or boost revenue.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes with the CEO
  • Identify suitable investors and lead investment pitches and investment due diligence processes
  • Conduct comparative market analysis demand and supply drivers in the payments markets to identify a pipeline of attractive new opportunities for expansion.
  • Work on design and financial feasibility of new expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans to ensure scalability of the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Attract, recruit and train members of new teams for new business units / expansion opportunities.
  • Take all steps necessary to achieve the full growth and profitability potential of each business in a synergistic manner with the wider group in order to deliver on the group\xe2\x80\x99s vision.
  • Be organizationally agile in order to influence and obtain buy-in from stakeholders especially towards organization-wide change initiatives.
  • Understand organizational strategic objectives and be able to articulate these into measurable initiatives, processes and communicate these effectively to ensure clarity, understanding and internalization across the organization.
  • Must possess an unquestionable personal code of integrity, ethics, trust, fidelity and discretion in order to effectively represent the Company and CEO in all operational and tactical matters.
