Date: 29-Dec-2022 Location: Singapore, SG Company: ST Engineering Group Job Req ID: 9418 As Head of Corporate Security, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for developing, implementing and managing physical, personnel and information security policies and procedures to safeguard the company\xe2\x80\x99s business-security interests. This role is responsible for reducing risk, responding to incidents and overall direction & leadership of the on-site security team. Responsibilities
Developing policies, procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and audit requirements as well as good business practices.
Developing and managing an information security risk management program including development, evaluation, and adherence to multiple agencies areas of practice.
Reviewing, and refining Organizational Corporate Security policies, standards, and procedures to identify control points that would assist in better mitigating risk to the business.
Developing mechanisms for security intelligence, including risk assessment and provide feedback to the senior management.
Orchestrating the conduct of physical security audits and inspections on offices or facilities to maintain accurate records of security risk assessment, interaction, complaints, and resolution.
Leading the development of security related training material and plans for security awareness as well as other specialized training areas.
Collaborating with the heads of IT and Cyber Security to assure a robust security management system.
Leading in the review and currency of crisis management plan.
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management, project management, and leading through influence.
Identify and test technologies that will improve business process and/or offer efficiency or risk reduction.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education.
At least 10 years of professional experience in corporate security governance, risk, and compliance management.
Demonstrate leadership and management on security related issues and incidents within the organization and collaborating with key stakeholders (MINDEF Military Security Department and Singapore Police Force Arms and Explosive Department, amongst others) on implementation of security standards and policies.
Strong personnel management and the ability to brief senior-level executives is critical to the success of this role.
Familiar with regulatory requirements and security policies from MINDEF MSD and SPF Arms and Explosives departments.
Prior experience in physical security is essential.
Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Specialist (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Security Investigator (PSI) or Industrial Security Professional (ISP) is a plus.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders. This includes effective negotiation and representation skills.
