About Our Client
Our client is well established IT firm seeking for a Head of Information Security for their Singapore office. This role will be a key member of the leadership team whose charter is to own the company's IT security posture, processes and standards.
As the Head of Information Security, your responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining a company-wide information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected
- Providing guidance with respect to company response to emerging cybersecurity threats both internally and externally
- Developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic, comprehensive IT risk management program
- Interpreting technical requirements into business requirements and communicating the potential security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers
- Providing advisory on cyber security solutions and technologies to be deployed
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field with excellent communication skills. You will have at least 15 years of experience in Information Security along with strong domain expertise in areas such as Security Operations and GRC. You will have knowledge of security related technologies (IPS/IDS, WAF, SIEM, DDOS etc.) You will have prior people management (team of 20+) experience and proven leadership skills. You will have certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or any relevant security certifications.
