Job Description


The Role Responsibilities

  • Head of CVM and Data SG is responsible for leading a team of analytics professionals to drive business value and insights for the bank\'s retail business. This involves developing and implementing cutting-edge analytics solutions to support decision-making in various retail banking areas such as product development, pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and marketing campaigns.
  • With strong leadership skills manage and motivate the analytics team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the Bank. Drive development and usage of statistical modeling, data visualization, and data democratization.
  • Participate in industry forums follow new trends and emerging technologies in the retail banking industry. Leveraging data-driven insights guide the bank towards better decision-making, improve customer value management and increase profitability.
Strategy

Data Strategy:
  • The Head of CVM and Data is responsible for developing and executing the organization\'s data strategy in collaboration with group Data analytics and business heads and in line with marketing strategies and Martech road map. Metrics used to measure this may include the alignment of data strategy with business goals and objectives, and the effectiveness of data strategies in driving business outcomes.
Business
  • Customer Value Management:
  • Develop and maintain customer segmentation models, lifetime value metrics, and other analytics frameworks to help identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities in the customer base.
  • Monitor customer behavior and emerging trends to identify opportunities for improving targeting, personalization, and retention strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to business stakeholders based on data-driven analysis to improve the customer experience, overall profitability, and retention.
Artificial Intelligence :
  • Work with group retails and with their support manage the development and implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives for CPBB SG .
  • Design and execute experiments that leverage artificial engineering, and make sense of the resulting data using analytical techniques like deep learning, natural language processing (NLP) and other computational methods.
  • Support teams across CPBB SG in areas related to advances analytics.
Marketing Technologies:
  • Provide input in developing and managing technical tools that are required for demand-generation and customer acquisition.
  • Work with Group teams to conceptualize, develop, manage, and maintain the platform for customer interactions using efficient technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support implementing EDM, Push notification, omni -channel marketing automation programs, with a focus on delivering best-in-class customer experience technologies.
Actionable Insights:
  • Translate complex data into knowledgeable insight, providing guidance to the Digital sales and marketing and broader executive teams that will enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Developing actionable insights and speaking to business outcomes at a strategic level.
  • Oversee the production analytics and reports in a format that is easily consumed to maximise the efficient use of analytics in across-Bank analysis, serving as a big-picture view of the data.
Business Targets:
  • Support business in achieving the business targets, e.g. revenue, customer acquisition, product penetration, balance sheet, AUM\xe2\x80\xa6etc.
  • Timely deployment of leads campaigns with good quality. Timely delivery of campaign tracking reports
  • Complete Group requests on schedule
  • No default, audit finding or data leakage
Change management:
  • Being able to adapt to changing circumstances and lead the team through organizational changes, technology upgrades, or new processes is essential in a dynamic data analytics environment
Processes

Resource management:
  • Ability to effectively allocate resources, such as staffing, technology, and budgets, is necessary for the efficient functioning of the department.
Performance Management:
  • Develop, design, and implement score cards, with respective business teams , that include income targets, return on tangible equity (ROTE), cost income ratio, and other financial KPIs, ensuring they accurately reflect Bank\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and sales team performance.
  • Analyze and track sales performance data to identify areas of improvement, optimize incentives, and drive sales strategy through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the score card framework, incorporating innovative approaches and industry best practices, while ensuring its integrity, fairness, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage the incentive budget proactively with different business teams
Democratization and Data Driven Decision Making:
  • The Head of CVM and Data is responsible for enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. This can be measured through metrics such as self serve percentages and quality and accuracy of various models

  • Head of CVM and Data SG is responsible for ensuring that the SCB SG\xe2\x80\x99s data is of high quality, accurate, and reliable. This can be measured through metrics such as data accuracy, completion rate, and consistency and data access controls.

  • Group & COE Retail Analytics Team: for leads campaign initiatives, campaign performance reporting and analytics and data modelling
  • Group Tech on report automation projects and database related requirements

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Education: Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience of overall experience with 10+ years of relevant experience working with retail banking or financial services
  • Proven experience in managing a team of analytics professional
  • Excellent knowledge in artificial engineering, advance analytics and analytical modelling techniques
  • Knowledge of current trends in the banking industry, including customer experience, digital transformation and customer analytics
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
