Head of Department - Learning for Practical Driving

Reporting to. : Head of Operations

Supported by : 4 direct reports, managing a team of 200 driving instructors

Duties and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Plan and lead the department to achieve company\'s set goals.

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the functions of each section and ensure sectional coordination is well maintained.

\xc2\xb7 Observing, analyzing, and offering suggestions to improve current operations.

\xc2\xb7 Scheduling meetings and training sessions with staff and other stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding processes.

\xc2\xb7 Conducting research, writing up reports, and presenting findings to management and other stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and guide driving instructor teaching the subjects to students.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor the progress of students of the subject to ensure students meet programme and Traffic Police testing requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Establish collaborative spaces and conduct regular reviews with driving instructors as part of driving curriculum refinement efforts.

\xc2\xb7 Induct new driving instructors on all relevant aspects of the driving curriculum.

Top Responsibilities

• Manpower planning, utilization, motivation to achieve monthly targets
• Coaching, advise, communicate with driving instructors to improve learners\' passing rate
• Preparation of monthly report for management

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Only Singaporeans/PRs may apply

\xc2\xb7 Diploma/Degree in training/business.

\xc2\xb7 Preferably 4 to 8 years of working experiences in managing 200 staff.

\xc2\xb7 Competent & able leadership skills in heading 200 staff - MUST HAVE

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated, working under pressure, a team player and able to work independently

\xc2\xb7 Strong facilitation, planning and organizational skills

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in MS office and reporting

\xc2\xb7 Able to handle customers, both internal and external.

\xc2\xb7 Resourceful and able to adapt to changes.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to continuously review current jobs and inject new ideas to improve work methods.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work under pressure.

\xc2\xb7 Location : Northern part of Singapore (Shuttle bus provided from Admiralty MRT station)

\xc2\xb7 5 days\' work week

\xc2\xb7 Renumeration : Monthly basic salary + Position Allowance + HP Allowance + Laundry Allowance + AWS + VB
