We are looking for a Head of Design with passion for tackling complex problems with simple and elegant solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our products. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer. You have a unique opportunity to build a UI/UX design organization, and own the product experience across all our surfaces, partnering with product management and engineering teams. RESPONSIBILITIES . Build and manage a talented, diverse, inclusive team of product designers that consistently delivers at a high bar, grow in their careers and feel a strong sense of inclusion and belonging. . Understands company goals and shapes the product strategy as well as strategic roadmap of Design department. . Partners closely with product and engineering to deliver high quality experiences for our customers across platforms and product surfaces. . Drives key decisions to define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, visual design, and prototypes . Leads user research and testing efforts . Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources accordingly, ensuring the team is working effectively and efficiently with clear and measurable goals. . Build functional prototypes to validate and test your designs . Evolves and refines the Design system across products SKILLS & EXPERIENCE . Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in design-related fields, with 8+ years of experience in fast-paced creative environments . Experience in leading a UI/UX design organization . Ability to convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups or prototypes . Excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment . A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality design work that also tells a story that you are a deep design thinker . Strong information presentation (visual and written) skills to convey design decisions to relevant stakeholders .
