Manage the repair, recondition, refurbish and testing of electronics Print Circuit Boards (PCB), Component and Equipment from Signaling, Control, Communication and Automatic Fare Collection systems of the Downtown Line (DTL), North-East Line (NEL) and Sengkang Punggol LRT (SPLRT).
Achieve reduction in repair cost, repair turnaround time and obsolescence risk of the electronics PCB, component and equipment.
Explore, develop and setup new electronics repair and testing capabilities.
Continuously improve the staff knowledge and workshop testing capabilities based on the new technology development.
Maintain the workshop, repair equipment and testing equipment to ensure capabilities continuity and meeting the required standard such as Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) S20.20.
Management of electronics parts procurement and storage.
Ensure Quality and Safety of works carry out meet the required standards and processes.
Ensure that staff are well trained and competent to perform their tasks safely and proficiently.
Major Responsibilities
Ensure individual roles, functions and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated.
Manage budget and resources to maximize maintenance outcomes and improve stakeholder satisfaction.
Identify areas for improvement through training and development programmes.
Manage, lead, and motivate the workshop to achieve reliability, quality, cost and availability targets to meet customer needs.
Manage the serviceability of the equipment.
Manage the workshop logistics activities such as procure components and spares, maintenance of equipment and update of maintenance records.
Ensure that sufficient spares levels are maintained at all times to support mainline operation.
Interface with engineering departments from DTL, NEL and SPLRT, vendors and LTA on technical issues.

To implement and conduct of periodic safety inspection and safety audit to ensure compliance with the specific standards.
To ensure that the maintenance and modifications work performed on the equipment and repairable by the workshop are compliance with the safety standards and operating specifications.
Job Specifications
Minimum Education / Qualifications
Degree or Master in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
Preferably with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Electronics PCB and Component Repair or equivalent.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong Communication, Writing, Analytical and Problem solving skill
Knowledge in international studies in electronics cards repair.
Knowledge in computer hardware or/and software applications.
