Then come and become part of our team as Head of Finance, Customer Services (CS) Headquarter Asia Pacific (AP) & Regional Lead AP Diagnostics (DX) CS Finance within Customer Services and support us with your expertise and digital transformation skills.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You are financially responsible for the CS business (for in-vivo and in-vitro) within the region Asia Pacific and its Zones.
  • You ensure a systematic approach to understand the business from an end-to-end perspective and within the whole lifecycle, be it from an organizational-, process- or technological point of view.
  • In your role you are setting new impulses and you are continuously identifying optimization potentials, especially when it comes to further developing and digitalizing commercial processes (e.g., reporting-, planning- or controlling-related).
  • You are an expert when it comes to financial planning, cost- and headcount controlling as well as all value flows; additionally, you ensure the adherence to the Compliance and Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local and global tax regulations.
  • Together with your team (which is in Shanghai and Singapore) you are the central contact person for Business Areas and Business Lines as well as the global CS HQ process counterparts and regional management (China, Asia Pacific Japan, and AP Diagnostics).
  • You are working cross-departmental as well as cross-process oriented to ensure the availability of decision relevant information; furthermore, you are making measurable what counts to steer the business successfully.
  • You will partner with the CS Head and the DX CS Head in the region to drive the business further.
  • You are contributing to the success of our global CS Finance digitization roadmap by driving global, regional, and local initiatives in close cooperation with the respective countries and CS HQ.

Your qualifications and experiences:
  • You hold a Master of Business Administration or an equivalent education.
  • You convince us due to your many years of experience within Finance.
  • You are experienced in new ways of working in interdisciplinary teams, versed with methods like e.g., Design Thinking.
  • You possess very good knowledge when it comes to digitizing processes. Furthermore, you have a high affinity applying modern data- and automatization tools (i.e., UiPath, Valsight, Jedox or KNIME); ideally you can talk about proven outcomes from prior job responsibilities.
  • You possess SAP-knowledge on transactional level; and you are also experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to the question how these systems are connected and interact with companywide master data systems.
  • The implementation of global projects as well as international work experience is something which enriches and completes your profile.
