About Our Client

• Our client is a foreign bank that has been in operation in Singapore for more than 50 years and deals mainly in corporate and commercial lending as well as trade finance related banking needs within the South Asia. They are currently looking for a Head of Financial Control based in Singapore to oversee the full spectrum of financial reporting, financial management, as well as statutory and regulatory reporting function

• Financial management & reporting

• Statutory and regulatory compliance (financial) and reporting

• Taxation compliance

• To prepare the annual budget statistics and forecast

• Ensure the bank's accounting procedures conform to locally applicable accounting standards

• Monitor and analyze monthly operation results against budget

• Oversee daily operations of the finance department

• Manage the preparation of financial reports and forecasts

• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits

• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness

• Ensure timely reporting to Management/Stakeholders

• Preparation and E-filing of GST claim to IRAS

• Preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly report to MAS

The Successful Applicant

• At least 10 years of experience in Finance from a bank or related field

• Excellent analytical, and financial skills, with strong attention to detail

• Well versed with Financial, management & taxation reporting

• Strong knowledge in financial planning, budgeting & forecasting

• Familiar with MAS reporting

• Strong team player and ability to interact with senior management
