JOB TITLE:
CHC ASEA Zone Head of Financial Performance
SCOPE:
Southeast Asia, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan
JOB PURPOSE
Be accountable for the CHC financial performance of the ASEA Zone
Be the strategic partner to the business leader.
Be exposed to a very dynamic environment, working in close partnership with local Business team members.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be a Business Partner for business leader
Support Business Leader in their decision-making process based on sound judgment, finance expertise and business acumen,
Be a member of the CHC Leadership Team,
Support global CHC business and finance projects as local point of contact,
Drive cash flow optimization initiatives at local level and management/monitoring of stock in trade
Focus on Financial Performance
Provide to the leadership team accurate, timely and relevant financial data and key metrics,
Drive the Monthly Performance Reviews: monitor business performance vs set targets and defined KPIs, gaps vs. plan – supported by the Finance Business Partners,
Lead the reconciliation forum to align IBP between Commercial Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Affairs and ensure alignment with CHC country / zone’s ambitions,
Lead budget & forecasts
Drive the reviews with local/regional finance teams, challenge Business assumptions, identify risks and opportunities and ensure strategic alignment between Commercial Business, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and Financial Operations
Animate local Finance community
Animate locally the CHC Finance community (talent planning, finance resource optimization) of business finance, operational finance (GBS retained local) and other group activities
Perform other finance tasks
Accountable for the control environment (assessing risks and performing controls) over their local areas of responsibility and fully aware of internal control requirements (“guardian of the rules”), with the capability to raise concerns to Internal Control
Share and implement finance best practices and focus on simplification to limit the workload and focus on performance
Lead ad hoc projects
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Finance team (Financial Performance Lead (local and Regional), IA finance teams, BA&C, local CFOs, SBS/GBS) and Business & Operational teams
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Experience & knowledge: 10-15 years of experience, preferably multicultural in Finance and in FMCG; experience in management (large team and cross-geographies)
Degree qualified in a finance and accounting or a related business discipline and / or a professional accounting qualification
Display agility skillset to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment, advanced Business Partnering
Collaborative, highly proactive and assertive attitude, commitment to excellence, excellent Communication
Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine and present complex information in a simple manner, strategic thinking
Experienced leader able to provide structure, purpose, and development to a team of finance professionals
Curious and open to Asian cultures
Key Dimensions
Location is Singapore or one of the Key countries of the Zone
8 direct reports (Local Finance Performance Leads and Business Analysis and Controlling Leads)
