The Head of FP&A, APAC is a key member of the Regional Leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance, Asia Pacific.

This leadership role will lead and manage overall planning and analytics for APAC Region, including budget, forecast, long range business plans, financial support for strategic plan, business case preparation, scenario analysis and investment appraisal. The role will drive strategic analysis in a cross-functional, matrixed organization across the Region. The right candidate will provide business insights and continuous improvement, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role your primary focus will be:

Financial Planning and Business Partnering

• Provide strategic insights, finance partnership and decision support for driving performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives
• Identify and implement KPI(s), performance management tools to measure and track business performance in the Region
• Support Regional Commercial leaders to formulate financial strategy to grow revenue and enhance profitability in line with delivering financial goals for APAC Region
• Take lead to optimize cross-functional process and collaboration to maximize business impact
• Lead and manage overall planning and analytics for APAC Region \xe2\x80\x93 Strategic and Annual Planning, Forecasting, Long Range Planning
• Drive forecasting (including Demand sales review) through bottom up analysis, evaluate expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
• Transformation, driving simplification and development of mindset to success
• Provide analysis for price setting, new launches, change of business model
• Close collaboration and business partnering with new Alliance Market Lead, provide financial insights and support, scenario planning for Go-To-Market strategy, business case preparation for geo-expansion plan
• Collaborate with Market Access function on pricing strategy and price setting, provide financial analysis to ensure APAC price setting at optimal level - safeguard gross margin and ensuring sustainable profitability

Business Performance Reporting

• Drive monthly business financial reviews supporting the process with industry, market trends and analysis, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis
• Coordinate and provide qualitative commentaries for monthly reporting (Sales, P&L, HC etc)
• Evaluate financial performance \xe2\x80\x93 comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecast
• Produce regular financial reports, provide overview of business and financial performance to APAC LT and relevant stakeholders. Highlight trends, key actions, and strategic implications
• Transparent reporting of risks and opportunities in business to senior management.
• Analyse pricing results and provide recommendations to maximise pricing opportunities

Finance

• Continuously challenge the status quo, review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement effort
• Leading and delivering on Digital Finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining including utilizing BI or any other analytical tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
