POSITION


GFE (Global Facilities & Engineering) is a global organization built on 5 regions (Germany, RCV, Americas, EMEIA and APAC) and four building blocks (RE&FM, EHS, Security and Engineering). GFE APAC is a regional organization deployed in APAC Region and include ROPUs TCM, Japan and ASKAN. The role of Head of GFE ASKAN focuses on ROPU ASKAN in full connection with the regional functions lead, EHS, Security & Crisis Mgmt, RE&FM and Engineering and, through them, to the global function leads. The incumbent will report solid (disciplinary) line to FAD ASKAN and functionally to GFE APAC Lead. Target setting and performance rating will be conducted by the Head GFE APAC in alignment with FAD ASKAN. Also, the incumbent will be part of GFE APAC Leadership Team.


The incumbent will also be responsible as GFE Lead of Singapore office (and any other physical presence in Singapore), in functional connection with the regional building blocks and reporting solid line to FAD ASKAN. She/He will be responsible to maintain the Singapore office in efficient status and will provide direct assistance and coordination with regards to RE&FM, EHS and Security & Crisis Management subjects.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


For the Regional Operating Unit (ROPU) known as ASKAN (comprising of ASEAN + South Korea + Australia & New Zealand), this role is responsible for the four building blocks:


Security Lead

• Drive GFE ASKAN key processes and governance within BI standards / procedures / guidelines into ROPU ASKAN, in alignment with Regional Security Lead
• Ensure Regional alignment on GFE ASKAN Security and Crisis Management topics in the ASKAN region

EHS Lead

• Contact person at the country and responsible for administration areas in matters concerning environmental, health and safety (EHS) issues
• Support Regional Head of EHS in ensuring that the EHS Management System and programs are established, documented, implemented, maintained and continually improved

Real Estate & Facility Management Lead

• Responsibility to break down and execute regional RE&FM strategy, priorities and targets for ROPU ASKAN (including translation of the regional strategy into local action plans), the aggregation of feedback regarding input from local Heads to design and optimization of standards and processes or site performance to Regional Real Estate & Facility Management.
• Accountable for guiding and advising from a Real Estate & Facility Management perspective the respective businesses on local level on how to achieve their business strategy including ensuring the adherence to global standards and local regulations

Engineering
OPU ASKAN GFE organization, by design, does not have engineering capacities. In case of needs (e.g., in case of specific projects), it will be managed directly by the Engineering Regional/Global Organization, in collaboration with ASKAN GFE Lead.


Network management
This position requires interaction with local and federal law enforcement agencies in order to keep informed on issues that could affect the company. A strong regional alliance with these agencies is required.


REQUIREMENTS

• A tertiary qualification in EHS&S / Security Management is welcome. Additionally appropriate qualification in Facility Management or Business is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Security Management and preferable in RE&FM is required, where the candidate can demonstrate direct management of Security personnel and or EHS and RE&FM.
• Good expertise and working knowledge of related Global Security and EHS Standards (policies, procedures, guidelines) and regional/national legislation.
• Communications with all levels of management is required.
• Individual is required to have a high degree of interaction and development skills to support the ASKAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, Myanmar, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand).
• Experience in Security, Environmental, Health & Safety, real estate and Facility management, as well as project management.
• More than 6 years leadership experience
