Relations, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), you will work with leaders of government and industry to influence public policy, monitor government initiatives and advocate for specific plans to advance the company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.You will be responsible for:

• Developing the APJ regional government relations and public policy strategy in partnership with company executives and business area stakeholders.
• Directing executive leadership participation in policy platforms relevant to the region.
• Advising and counseling the company\'s executives on public policy and governmental matters, including pending legislation/regulations and policy initiatives and their potential implications to the company.
• Prioritizing actions and resources to maximize impact of government relations initiatives on the business.
• Driving engagement with relevant policymakers, as well as administrative agency persons and other organizations on issues of importance to the company such as expanding access to Siemens Healthineers\xe2\x80\x99 solutions, reimbursement, and regulatory issues.
• Driving engagement in trade organizations, strategic industry groups and patient advocacy organizations to influence legislation, regulations and public policy that affect the industry and advance the company\xe2\x80\x99s interests.
• Developing thought leadership and influencing commercial strategies.

• Knowledge and ability to appropriately influence the political/policy process, including working with and managing consultants.
• Formulating and implementing business development, government relations and external affairs policies.

Required skills to have for the success of this role :

• Over 10 years of legislative, governmental agency and/or trade association experience and experience within the private sector in increasingly responsible Government Relations/External Affairs roles.
• Experience in healthcare government policy and its impact on the private sector.
• Experience in legislative and public policy making in the Asia region.
• Experience in developing partnerships with trade associations and other industry partners in order to push an agenda.
• Proficiency in an Asian language preferred.
