Job Description

We are working exclusively with an award winning, and highly values driven, independently owned global fintech startup, to appoint a commercial and forward-thinking Head of HR APAC to be based in Singapore. This individual will lead the HR strategy, advisory and HR operations across the region. With the organization already at circa 900+ employees, and projected growth of 25%+ in the next two years, largely across APAC, it is an exciting time to join the firm.

Reporting into the Group CHRO based in the UK, this individual will operate as the trusted advisor to the Regional Leadership team, playing an instrumental role in leading the APAC people strategy and plans and executing these, in a strategic and hands on role, supported by a relatively lean team of HR generalists spread across the region, covering a number of countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Tokyo etc. This individual will also have oversight of CoE's such as TA, who report directly in to the Group HQ.

Alongside the BAU annual HR processes that this individual will lead, regional HR projects will include; driving business growth across the region, building a internal shared services function for transactional activities in India to replace outsourced vendors, developing the HR team across APAC, ensuring a top tier onboarding and employee experience, managing culture change and having a focus on ongoing HR operational excellence and process enhancement as they continue to scale.

We are looking for a APAC Head of HR, based in Singapore, with a strong track record of operating in high growth international fintech, tech or professional services start-ups. You have a consultative and engaging personality and be able to influence and partner with the regional and global leadership team. You have prior experience managing and developing a high performing HR team across a number of APAC markets, and enjoy operating in a strategic but also hands on HR BP Lead role.
