About Our Client

Our Client is renowned retail brand from Denmark. They are now looking to expand into APAC with Singapore being a targeted location. The company has a vision to combine innovation, knowledge, people and products. With increasing demand, new product introductions and market expansion, they are currently looking for a Head of Logistics to assist them and contribute in this area.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your main responsibility includes leading and driving the business\' logistics in Asia. You must ensure the optimal flow of goods and services to regional retail stores and support outbound of China and inbound to Europe. You are expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• To ensure resources and capacity are managed efficiently and cost-effectively
• To monitor overall supply chain financial performance including budget
• To source for 3PL at a reasonable price level, and maintain good vendor relationship
• To develop and ensure outstanding product flow to all partners in Asia and other partners serviced by the current warehouse within Asia
• Lead and run strategic logistics projects with cross-functional team
• Implement new transport providers and warehouses across the region.

The Successful Applicant

You must have a Degree in Supply Chain or related fields, and a minimum of 8 years experience within the Retail/FMCG Industry with exposure in starting up new organisation within Asia. You must possess analytical skills and data interpretation in order to use metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance
