Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love.That\xe2\x80\x99s what makes us Roche.As the Head of Product Testing Operations, you will be supporting the Department Head in managing product testing shift teams for efficient and safe laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily lab operations, ensuring timely performance of various tests (including PT, In-Process, Drug Substances, and Stability), driving process improvements, and collaborating on deviation, CAPA, and change control processes. Additionally, the role includes preparing for regulatory inspections and participating in audits.The OpportunityOversee QC testing for In-Process, Drug Substances, and Stability samples and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and standards.Manage testing schedules for prompt results delivery and ensure timely completion and reporting of test results.Maintain QC lab processes and documentation in a state of regulatory compliance. Prepare for inspections and audits.Optimize supplies, reagents, and resources.Collaborate on issue resolution and CAPAs.Provide technical support and coaching to the team.Comply with all RSTO\xe2\x80\x99s Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace accidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.Embody PT Lean Production System (LPS), while fostering and advocating a continuous improvement mindset and culture throughout the organization, by encouraging experimentation and learning.Who You AreYou hold a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (Chemistry, biochemistry or other relevant discipline is preferred) ideally with a minimum 8 years of related working experience and 4 or more years in managing team in Biotech or pharmaceutical operating environment.Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory operations in support of commercial manufacturingIdeally possess an in-depth knowledge of laboratory, cGMPS and experience with regulatory aspects of biologics API manufacturing with high initiative, demonstrated planning skills and proven performance in problem solving.Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively across functional teams and at multiple levels within the organizationProven organizational and supervisory skills to motivate and influence others to drive for results.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
