Job Summary:

• Company background: Singapore based Steel Manufacturing & Supplying field
• Working location: West
• Working days & hrs: 5 days, (Mon - Friday 8am - 5.30 pm)
• Salary Range: up to S$ 8500 (dep on exp) + AWS + VB

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparation for setting up of new Steel Fibre production facility to produce Steel Fibres products from pre-production stage till completion of production stage
• Visits to key equipment and raw material suppliers for the Facility and Product
• Preparation of Facility to comply with various product and manufacturing standards, including
• but not limited to Singapore Standards, European Standards, Factory Production Certificate, ISO, etc.
• Coordinating with external and internal stakeholders like equipment manufacturers, ancillary equipment contractors and Management Team to ensure timely set up of the Facility
• Identifying the staffing needs for the new Facility from production, maintenance to QA/QC of Product, for discussion with Management Team
• Planning of production related matters like raw material suitability, sourcing of consumables, packaging of Product, marketing material, etc.
• Oversee Manufacturing Procedure Specification (MPS) and Quality Control Plan (QCP) for the different Product types
• Assist in the Production Plan, which will form part of the ISO documentation and assist in Maintenance Plan for the Facility
• Working with different stakeholder to derive information database for the different Product types i.e. Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete (\xe2\x80\x9cSFRC\xe2\x80\x9d) properties. concrete grade vs. dosage
• Assist sales team in technical sales support to external stakeholders like BCA, LTA, main contractors
• Assist administration team in preparation of marketing information for the Products - Technical Specifications, Packaging design, etc.
• Assist sales team in budgeting for Tenders which are SFRC-related
• Review quality control reports for accuracy and addressing any issues that may arise during production
• Maintain an overview of inventory and consumables levels to ensure adequate supplies are available for production
• Optimise production runs/shifts to ensure that operation is running smoothly and efficiently
• Working closely with the sales team to minimize gaps between delivery requirements and production planning capacity
• Knowledge of steel grades and steel-related production is an advantage
