Job Summary:

• Company background: Singapore based steel manufacturing & supplier
• Working location: West Singapore
• Working days & hrs: 5 days, Mon - Fri (8am - 5.30pm)
• Salary Range: up to S$ 8000 (dep on exp) + AWS + VB

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible in setting up of new Steel Fibre production plant
• Visits to key equipment and raw material suppliers for the Facility and Product
• Coordinating with external and internal stakeholders like equipment manufacturers, ancillary
• equipment contractors and Management Team to ensure timely set up of the Facility
• Identifying and executing staffing needs for the new Facility from production, maintenance to QA/QC of Product
• Preparation of Facility to comply with various product and manufacturing standards, including
• but not limited to Singapore Standards, European Standards, Factory Production Certificate,
• ISO and any related regulations and practices
• Planning of production related matters like raw material suitability, sourcing of consumables,
• packaging of Product, marketing material and any other related matters.
• Oversee Manufacturing Procedure Specification (MPS) and Quality Control Plan (QCP) for the
• different Product types
• Assist in the Production Plan, which will form part of the ISO documentation and Maintenance Plan for the Facility
• Working with different stakeholder to derive information database for the different Product types i.e. Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete (\xe2\x80\x9cSFRC\xe2\x80\x9d) properties .vs. concrete grade .vs. dosage
• Assist sales team in technical sales support to external stakeholders like BCA, LTA and main contractors
• Assist administration team in preparation of marketing information for the Products - Technical Specifications, Packaging design, etc.
• Assist sales team in budgeting for Tenders which are SFRC-related
• Review quality control reports for accuracy and addressing any issues that may arise during production
• Maintain an overview of inventory and consumables levels to ensure adequate supplies are available for production
• Optimise production runs/shifts to ensure that operation is running smoothly and efficiently
• Working closely with the sales team to minimize gaps between delivery requirements and production planning capacity

Requirements

• Relevant study in engineering
• Preferably with set up production plant working experiences
• Good knowledge of steel grades or steel related production
