Job Description


United World College South East Asia (UWCSEA) is seeking an experienced Rewards Leader to join our Human Resources Team as the Head of Rewards, Recognition and Wellbeing. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and managing a comprehensive rewards, recognition and wellbeing programme to support the engagement of our 1,200 employees across two campuses in Singapore. This role will report to CHRO and has one direct report.Main Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance employee rewards, recognition and well being in alignment with UWCSEA\xe2\x80\x99s mission, vision and values; and the College\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Priorities
  • Programme Management: Lead the design, implementation and assessment of employee rewards programmes, recognition initiatives, and wellbeing initiatives to ensure that they are effective and meet the needs of diverse employee groups
  • Rewards: oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programmes, including job levelling, salary benchmarking, reviewing the compensation structures / components as required
  • Recognition: conceptualise, develop and implement the employee recognition programmes aligned with organisational values, which may include awards and programmes to recognise a diverse range of employees; or introducing a technology platform to support our employee recognition goals
  • Wellbeing: conducting a regular survey to benchmark our employee wellbeing programme; identify trends and gaps; working with other domain expertise to coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics related to health and wellbeing
Person Specifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree with between 3-\xc2\xad5 years experience in a Rewards Team Lead role
  • iHRP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / Rewards
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Rewards & Recognition programs
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, Singapore market trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • Internationally\xc2\xad minded with an understanding of the UWC mission and the identity of the college
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling strong rapport to be built with all levels of employees
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • High level of integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and remain impartial.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively, as part of a team
