Telum Media creates connections between the media and public relations sectors using our industry-focused online media contacts database, events, news and communications channels. Helping public relations firms and in-house communication teams connect with the right journalists and media outlets at the right time. Our teams across the Asia Pacific region work diligently to ensure our media contacts platform is up-to-date, rich in helpful information and user-friendly. Also, we facilitate events that forge meaningful connections for clients and the industry. We work with journalists to publish short and long-form content, support calls for help with our media requests, and industry recruitment with our jobs board. We seek someone to join our growing information and tech company established as a market leader. We are looking for an ambitious Head of Sales to join our Management Team based in either Australia, Hong Kong or Singapore. As part of the Sales Team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with the existing team and other functions across the group. The Role You will be accountable for setting the strategy for APAC Sales & Developing Markets and setting key Sales initiatives for all propositions within the Global Sales teams and Developing Markets Teams. You\xe2\x80\x99ll act as one-voice at the Executive Team meeting, representing all the Sales and Developing Markets propositions and services whilst building, leading and motivating a highly effective Global Sales team through hiring, mentoring, training & up-skilling in order to deliver against Sales Targets. As well as leading the Sales team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also sell our product yourself, win new business and build pipelines to achieve your individual Sales Target whilst ensuring all systems are up-to-date and utilised to their full potential. Collaboration with Marketing, Events, Product & Media Teams on customer/product needs, competitive intelligence / attack programs, and promotion is critical as is working in closely with the Client Managers, Sales Operations & Revenue Teams to continually improve processes & to align sales efforts with company goals. About You Your experience of leading high performing Sales teams will stand you in good stead to implement a best in class, cohesive Sales strategy across our regions and to build a high performing team. Qualifications & Experience \xc2\xb7 Experience working in multinational matrix organisations. \xc2\xb7 Substantial and proven experience of building and leading highly effective APAC/Global sales teams. \xc2\xb7 Recent Proven Sales Success in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Experience of developing and implementing Sales systems, policies and processes on an APAC/global scale. \xc2\xb7 Experience of working with different cultures. \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to self-motivate, work to deadlines and have attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Experience of Services of Software / subscription services, preferably in an APAC market. \xc2\xb7 Written and Verbal Proficiency in English. \xc2\xb7 Preferably have international experience ideally working for Blue-chip organisations. \xc2\xb7 Experience of supporting company transformation, capability building and working with ambiguity as well as resilience. Has built high performing teams to support rapid business growth. Proactively manages the team to ensure a seamless customer experience. \xc2\xb7 University Degree or equivalent Key Accountabilities \xc2\xb7 Manage a Global, remote based team to create a high energy Sales culture to drive staff engagement & retention along with recruitment initiatives where necessary - Continually raising the bar. \xc2\xb7 Streamline sales policies, processes & training to maximise efficiency in conjunction with other internal teams. \xc2\xb7 Ensures Sales & Developing Markets Teams are motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth. \xc2\xb7 Delivers against individual and team annual targets on Revenue and ACV while keeping operational expenses of team to budgeted levels. \xc2\xb7 Responsible as the one voice of S&DM at the Executive management team. Build strong Internal communications with Telum stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Forecasting - Utilising data to maximise sales opportunities & translating data into Insights on a Global scale. \xc2\xb7 In all markets, identify opportunities, validate the product, collate insights, and make strategic recommendations for growth.
