Develop and implement the Services & Modernization business strategy and develop country specific action plans to achieve short- and long-term business goals. Execute business development initiatives and improve customer-centricity, competitive position, market share and profitability in the frontline. Work closely with the local engineering/ operations teams, Global/Area/FL Modernization teams to ensure profitable growth.What will you be doing?Safety and QualityProactively drive outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in the Service & Modernization businessEnsure relevant policies, e.g. tender policy fully in useCustomersDrive and promote customer-centric culture and outside-in thinking in the business by strong understanding on customer and market needs. Promote early involvement with the customer in selling process and consultative selling approach.Promote utilization of voice of customer throughout the businessBusiness performanceHolistic understanding, accountability and development of Service & Modernization business competitiveness, growth and profitabilityEvaluate the results of Service & Modernization business activities/contracts and identify recurring problemsDrive the cross function collaboration and efficient processes to build a strong support platform to grow our share of market substantially.Set up country level management practices that drive increase in share of market, OR growth, CMII, R80, pricing and pre-to-post performancePrepare recommendations and feedback about significant changes that need to be made to product portfolio and KONE Way operating model elements (i.e., processes, roles, organization, IT tools, data, governance, business performance management) to improve performanceCollaborate with the Unit Managing Director as well as other functions such as operations to develop and achieve targets and close gapsSet country level targets together with FL Service / Modernization Director, help in developing robust Unit budget plans, continuously monitor financial performance and report resultsDrive short and long-term competitiveness based on our Service & Modernization strategyBusiness developmentDrive the Service and Modernization business sales and offering development and go-to-market actions of new services and solutions in collaboration with other business stakeholdersCollaborate with FL, Area and Global colleagues for best practice sharingEnsure compliance with business operating model and effective deployment of KONE Way initiatives. Monitors FL KW compliance and acts upon gaps or development needs. Gives KW feedback back to the global.Leadership / People managementContribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement a strategy for Service and Modernization business that is aligned with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s overall vision and its current and long-term business objectivesLead, evaluate, and develop the Service and Modernization business team and its professionals at FL.Identify competence gaps and training needs in order to fulfil the business planAre you the one?Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in economics, engineering or other relevant field.Experience/ understanding of business-to-business sales from building materials, HVAC, or any products with aftersales serviceMinimum 10 year experience in people managementMasters in sales management, customer relationship management, marketing, experience in leading people effectivelyUnderstands well the end-to-end process for Service & Modernization business and related profit and cost drivers and contract managementSales acumen: understands selling cycle, customer\xe2\x80\x99s purchasing strategies, selling, negotiating, reporting and funnel management.Understands business planning and controlling and change managementDigital assertiveness and promote innovation and new digital solutionsCustomer Relationship ManagementWhat do we offer?Career progression in opportunities within a global organizationTotal reward elements that engage and motivate our employees and help us make KONE a great place to workComprehensive learning and development programs covering a wide range of professional skillsYou are surrounded by fun colleagues and a lively working environment.
