An exciting Global Head of Sales job has become available in Singapore to join our expanding team.We are seeking a Head of Sales that will be responsible for executing the end-to-end sales process and profitably building sales volume. This position prospects for new business and supports current sales volume with existing customers.The primary functions are to direct, implement, monitor, coordinate, and evaluate overall sales, sales strategies, tactics, operations, and overall sales effectiveness activities for increasing sales performance. The position is also responsible for growing relationships across multiple sales channels by managing reseller/distributor relationships and have the creative thinking skills to develop new partnership opportunities.How you will do it Oversee, plan and direct sales function for all product offerings maximizing the potential sales volume and profit Develop a sales strategy for a rapidly growing company and execute on its goals and objectives including a strong project pipeline for near, mid-term and long-term sales potential Think strategically about how to approach new business partnerships across multiple channels Translate business strategy into clear and locally executable plans and focus resources accordingly within their respective customers Create, develop, and drive execution of concise, meaningful, and digestible communications and programs that motivate success across a global network of Sales Representatives Lead, own and drive the execution of sales to success meeting set company sales and profit goals Understands the dynamics of each respective customer from multiple angles and provides insight and direction to develop solutions that promote and build the brand Builds Sales presentations and reports that will provide an action-oriented response to share both internally and with customers Directly represent company to current and prospective customers effectively visiting these customers on a monthly or quarterly basis as needed via personnel visits, trade shows, phone calls, and emails Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function Manage team to complete required reports, forms and processes (i.e. weekly summaries, customer call reports, pipeline reports, sample requests, pricing requests, expense reports) accurately and in a timely fashion Ensure effective control of sales policy and procedures (including development of new reporting) and take proactive and corrective action to guarantee the achievement of sales objectives Drive the process to identify and correct gaps in team experience, determine the key priorities for focused improvement of strategies, tactics, and best practices Develop and effectively manage the annual sales department budget, sales expense, T&E and reporting Define optimal sales force structure to meet business objectives including setting and prioritizing recruiting targets Formulate the annual sales plan including specific objectives for each product line Monitor the sales compensation and incentive program and monitor its effectiveness on a continuing basis Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to appropriate functional leadsWho you are Assertive/demonstrates courage; ability to effectively negotiate and influence others Strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences Organization; able to set and meet deadlines, and multi-task in fast-paced sometimes pressured situations Presentation skills: ability to use data for fact-based selling, on a personal and team level Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated Strong analytical skills and ability to use reports and syndicated data to achieve goals and objectives Leadership; able to acquire, manage, mentor, and lead a direct team of Sales Managers and virtual team members Passion for collaboration Ability to influence senior level executives Prior experience with development and enforcement of sales standard operating procedures is also required Experience as a leader in an organization undergoing transformational change Ability to operate independently while "rolling up the sleeves" to get work done is critical Work in a matrixed environment and collaborate with others, consider the needs of all affected groups, and to build/leverage relationships across functions to achieve business results Experience with data analysis (i.e., sales trends) and leveraging data to drive decision making Strong program management skills Proven experience in Broadcast, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Service Provider and Cloud industries preferred Bachelor 's Degree in Business, Marketing, Science or related field MBA strongly preferred Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in sales with at least five years of senior management is required Ability to travel 1-2 weeks per month
