Job Description

We are looking for an individual to lead the development, execution, management, and growth of our social programs portfolio. Relative to other aspects of our business, this role is defined around its intentionality in using digital technologies to expand opportunities for underserved groups. Our current programs in this category include our flagship train-and-place program that helps out-of-school and at-risk youths enter into digital jobs, a holding space that helps in-transition youths explore and deepen career interests, and a further upstream project to explore aspiration-building work for children from less privileged households. In this respect, we hope to build a constant and nurturing space of growth for individuals of all walks - and all stages - of life to explore their strengths and take charge of the emerging opportunities that digital brings to our lives. You will be leading a team of program staff in the design and delivery of these programs while working closely with the founders in charting and implementing the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s long-term impact strategy.

The scope of this role includes:

• Engage with a range of stakeholders across program funders, government and social service agencies (ie. for referrals), employer networks, and other strategic partners, with the goal of building clarity and deepening relationships. This is the engagement side of the work, where you will be representing Hatch in the co-creation and delivery journey with our ecosystem partners.
• Provide program managers with guidance and support for the effective delivery of our social programs, bringing in the necessary internal and external resources where necessary. This is the operations and management side of the work, with success measured on the quality of service delivery, improvements in processes, and the growth of individuals under your charge.
• Work with program managers to evaluate the effectiveness of each program in achieving its intended outcomes and theory of change. With our work in holistic youth development in its infancy, we see the need for our programs to evolve over time. You will be involved in the corresponding adaptation of program design and delivery to meet these emerging needs.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with experience in the youth engagement and development sector who would like to leverage digital opportunities for intentional impact. From the operations and management side of work, it is essential for the person to be proficient in both engaging youths(ie. from either a program delivery or social work background) as well as managing a small team. The remaining aspects of the work call for interest and experience in leading and managing stakeholders, especially in co-creation and prototype-stage projects. This is a full-time position with an annual review, which would appeal to individuals who see intrinsic meaning in the work that we do, and would like to develop and grow alongside our organisation and team.
