General Description

The Head of Strategy shall report to our Global Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will be viewed as a leader helping to transform Bank of Singapore and be the key resource, partner & trusted advisor of internal stakeholders.

You would have earned a reputation for excellent peer-leadership, prioritization, strategic thinking, communication, and an ability to interpret today's trends to create unique future business opportunities. You need to be financially savvy with strong analytical and quantitative skills to measure impact.

As the head, you will have at least 10 - 15 years of consulting experience with a reputable consulting organisation and / or in strategy, change management and transformation division of major financial institutions.

Responsibilities

In this role, your main duties and responsibilities will involve:

  • The ability to define and execute future goals by analysing market trends to look for important projects, ventures, potential targets and other partnership opportunities working with key stakeholders in the business
  • The ability to articulate, challenge and measure impact of strategic projects and ventures in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Supports the business objectives of strategic growth, enhanced client experience & improved risk management.
  • Create roadmap and governance for BOS-OCBC collaboration.
  • The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, to create realistic goals & implementation plans that are achievable and successful.
  • Provide leadership and facilitate the work of cross-functional team by understanding requirements and defining strategy to accomplish these objectives.
  • Manages and communicates with key stakeholders.
Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Possession of MBA is required
  • Exposure in Private Banking is mandatory.
  • A driven self-starter who is delivery focused and possesses strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to various demands in a diverse culture.
  • Familiar with relevant rules and regulations, those relating to local private banking business.
