At dnata, we are by your side for the entire travel experience.As the Head of Technical Services, dnata Singapore you are responsible to ensure the availability of Ground Support Equipment / Non Motorize Equipment (GSE/NME) and support Fleet support with the smooth running of ground services 24/7 and the delivery of services in accordance with customer service level agreement.In this role you will:

• Be accountable for delivering an effective GSE/NME and support Fleet maintenance regime, ensuring best practices are observed in the maintenance program. This to be delivered to a specific agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with other divisions / departments. Delivered through ensuring cost control of all spares and consumables using industry best-practice for outsourcing where appropriate
• On behalf of, and in consultation with other divisions / departments, research and recommend GSE fit for purpose. Furthermore, to understand and utilize the practice of fleet management
• Be responsible for the overall management of the maintenance and repair work carried out in the GSE workshops, ensuring compliance with manufacturers recommendations / standards
• Maximize revenue opportunities through third party maintenance and repair opportunities
• Ensure the safety of staff, equipment, and facilities in accordance with corporate, local, and international standards. Develop and promote a safety culture within department to continually raise awareness and motivate safe behaviours
• Develop training standards for the insourcing of maintenance support amongst staff as well as to ensure staff are trained to carry out their duties to the minimum requirements of Airport Operations. Maintain proficiencies through a program of refresher training and audit
• Represent Company as directed as a stakeholder at Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group (CAG) consultative committees / meetings and with other external bodies. Develop and promote working relationships through internal and external communications
• Drive innovative solutions through team creativity and ensure a collaborative approach with other divisions / departments. To include the use of all mandated technological solutions
• Responsible for the management of the Fuel Station and the provision of a 24 hours\xe2\x80\x99 service to users
• Develop and maintain own department continuity plans including dnata Crisis Management Plan, Business Continuity Plan and Evacuation Plan. Continual review and adjustment of the plan to accommodate change
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
• Preferably with working experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical systems and processes which are necessary for the competent maintenance of automatic and/or semi-automatic equipment
• Experience in managing large scale operations and transformation of maintenance and engineering teams
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant discipline with 10 years of managerial experience
• Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
• Familiar with Design Thinking, 5S, LEAN methodology
