This is a growing financial institution with a strategic focus in growing their Asia footprints. With Singapore being the regional hub, they are now hiring a Head of Technology Risk as they are looking to enhance the existing risk framework. This is a newly created role with the opportunity to build from within.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for framework for the governance and oversight on TRM which includes ensuring the effectiveness of the framework through appropriate policies and guidelines, enterprise wide risk appetite and thresholds, indicators and the adequacy of response plans in the current dynamic risk landscape. You will spearhead and refine the risk guidelines and have the autonomy to redesign the existing policies. You will drive the usage of data analytics and tools for risk measurements. This is a line risk role that requires a forward-looking mindset as you will be influencing the change across multiple functions. This is an exciting opportunity where you will engage with senior internal stakeholders and present to Risk Management Committees.
Requirements With minimum of 10 – 15 years of related Technology & Information Security Risk Management experience in Banks/Insurer/Fintech. A strong understanding of Risk Management Framework, information security principles and best practices, as well as exposure to technology regulatory framework. Proven ability to write policies, present ideas and engage senior stakeholders is a plus. Certification such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP or equivalent. Strong corporate governance, regulatory knowledge and problem-solving skills are preferred. You are highly resilient, a strong team player, driven, solutions-focused, and has strong influencing skills.
