Job Description

The Head of Treasury will oversee all treasury functions, ensuring optimal liquidity, funding, and risk management for the company's global trading operations. A key focus is managing and expanding banking and financial institution relationships to support trade finance, working capital, and structured financing needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Banking & Trade Finance: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international banks. Negotiate credit lines, LCs, SBLCs, and other trade finance instruments to support trading activities.
• Cash & Liquidity Management: Lead cash flow forecasting, optimize liquidity across entities, and ensure efficient fund utilization.
• Risk Management: Manage FX exposure, interest rate risk, and support hedging strategies in collaboration with trading and risk teams.
• Funding Strategy: Develop and execute short-term and long-term funding plans, including structured and inventory-based financing.
• Controls & Reporting: Maintain treasury policies, ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, and provide treasury reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications a plus
• 10+ years' treasury experience, preferably in commodities or energy trading
• Strong track record in trade finance, banking relationship management, and cash management
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with treasury systems and global banking platforms is preferred
• Ability to communicate in Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts
